Earlier in the day, Madame First Lady hit up Stuart Hobson Middle School in Washington, D.C. for the MLK Day of Service. She brought Sasha, Malia, and President Obama along. And she was welcomed with what she calls an "embarrassing" Happy Birthday serenade from the kiddies.
Later on, the Prez took her to an intimate dinner without the kiddies at the fabulous celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck's The Source restaurant at the Newseum building to celebrate. And she looked great in her all black coat and over-the-knee boots look:
