Lady Gaga Rocks Fans With Monster Ball Performance

'I swear it was the best show I've ever gone to!' fan exclaims of Atlantic City showcase.

Mother Monster might have been the one on stage Saturday night (February 19) belting out numbers at the top of her lungs, but it was the Little Monsters in the audience who reached impossibly loud volumes for their hero, Lady Gaga.

And they did it outside the arena.

"I swear it was the best show I've ever gone to!" a fan screamed to MTV News outside of Boardwalk Hall arena in Atlantic City, where Gaga had just finished her Monster Ball performance. "I was waiting for it!"

"I loved it!" fan Sandy Kutsu gushed at alarming decibels. "It was my second time!"

Generally sticking to her Monster Ball format, Gaga nevertheless had some new tricks and treats in store for her appreciative audience, including a performance of "Born This Way" ("She did 'Born This Way'!" a fan exclaimed!) during a second encore, just one day after the single was named the fastest-selling single in the history of iTunes.

"There was a little bit of new choreography, some new costuming. But other than that it was the Monster Ball we know and love," fan Stephanie Botton explained. "I was in tears at 'Born this Way.' It was absolutely great."

The biggest surprise, however, might have been Gaga's announcement during the show that she'd be back on tour next year with the "Born This Way Ball."

"How can one person do all that? I have no idea!" gushed fan Kaitlin Donahue.

For fans, the tour surely can't come quickly enough.

"She's changed my life," Botton said. "It was awesome!"

Justin Bieber's 'CSI' Appearance: A Cheat Sheet

Everything you need to know before Thursday's (February 17) episode.
By Jocelyn Vena

Justin Bieber appears on "CSI"
Photo: CBS

Last September, Justin Bieber made his first of two appearances on "CSI." In the episode, he played a troubled teen named Jason McCann. Amid plot twists and bomb explosions, fans were left wondering if young Jason was more trouble than he seemed.

Bieber returned to the "CSI" set in January, and while on set, he was hospitalized with an allergic reaction. But Bieber was fine enough to finish shooting his big second episode, "A Target of Obsession," which airs Thursday night (February 17).

"CSI" star George Eads, who plays Bieber's foil in the episode (Nick Stokes), revealed that Jason wouldn't live to see another day by the episode's end. "One of my crew guys goes, 'Man, you're going to split the country down the middle — half of them are going to hate you and half of them are going to love you,' " Eads said. "In the context of the story, he deserved it. I think in a way I was also at fault for killing Taylor Swift, too. Man, I'm going to have to stay away from a lot of people. Tell Miley Cyrus not to come on our show."

Bieber told MTV News earlier this month that he really loved being involved in the whole process of making the episode, including his fake death.

"Yeah, I get killed in the episode. I definitely get murdered," he revealed. "It was really cool because I actually — I get shot, like, several times," he revealed. "I fall down, and there's fake blood and everything. It's crazy how the whole process is."

Bieber also shared that he enjoyed stretching his bad-boy muscle for the part. "I'm not a bad person, so it's funny to play a bad person," he explained.

As for why the pop star chose "CSI" for his acting debut, he said, "I wanted to do something that's going to be challenging for me, and it's definitely going to be. It has been."

Britney Spears' Femme Fatale Is Her Ray Of Light, Manager Says

'It's somewhat of a departure from what she's done,' Larry Rudolph says, comparing the album to Madonna's 1998 work.
By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Jim Cantiello

On Thursday, "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D told us that Britney Spears' next album, Femme Fatale, is full of "club bangers." Her manager, Larry Rudolph, gave us even more specifics about the album when we spoke to him.

"In my opinion, this is her strongest album ever. It's somewhat of a departure from what she's done. It's more mature," he told MTV News about the March 29 release. "It's more of a dance record and this really is — and I was talking a lot about [director] Jonas [Åkerlund] and coming to Jonas because of 'Ray of Light' — and this really is Britney's Ray of Light album."

Åkerlund and Madonna famously reinvented the pop star into an earthly disco queen for her "Ray of Light" video in 1998. The Ray of Light album spawned a number of songs that were dance-floor hits as well as introspective. Madge worked on the album with Patrick Leonard and William Orbit. The album was recorded shortly after her daughter Lourdes was born, and while the lyrics are reflective, the sounds are electronic based.

While he didn't go into specifics, Rudolph did explain that the vibe of this first single and video may be a sign of what's to come on the album. "I feel like Jonas is a really good fit for her. They worked so well together so I gotta believe that they'll work again on this album project," he said. "I'm hoping that that happens and we do see more of that."

For Britney, working with Åkerlund was a passion project that, according to Rudolph, turned out to be an incredibly creative collaboration.

"She's always been a huge fan of his and his name has always come up. And there's always been something that stopped us from doing it, whether it be his availability or her timing, but we were really determined to make it happen this time," he said of hooking up with Åkerlund for the video. "He immediately had 20 different ideas and they got together and they talked about it and it took on a life of its own. We're really excited about it. In my opinion it's one of the top two or three videos of all time. It's a total departure for her. It's more mature. [There are] interesting things going on there that you have to dig deep to see."

Grammy 2011 Snubs Include Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Big Boi, Rihanna

While Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber were both nominated, they didn't get as much love as some expected.
By Gil Kaufman

You hear it all the time: "I'm just thankful to be nominated." It's the gracious and polite thing to say, and artists who lose out on major awards always feel compelled to offer it up.

But what if you never even get nominated?

Every year, there are head-slapping omissions from the roster of nominees at the big awards-fests (Christopher Nolan at the Oscars, anyone?), and this year's 53rd annual Grammy Awards (which take place February 13) are no exception.

In the night's biggest category, Album of the Year, there was plenty of griping from critics about the inclusion of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream, which many considered too lightweight for the night's top prize. But there was also a bit of talk about Justin Bieber's smash My World 2.0 not making it into the mix in the major categories, even if Bieber can lick his wounds with his Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album love.

Though the rules about the Best New Artist category have since been changed to avoid such a problem in the future, Lady Gaga has been the victim of Grammy snubs before. She earned six nominations this year, including coveted Album of the Year for The Fame Monster, but it was mystifying that her huge hit, "Bad Romance," didn't get any Record or Song of the Year nominations.

What gives?

"They want her for ratings, but I think the Grammys are still a bit freaked out by Gaga," said Entertainment Weekly music writer Leah Greenblatt. "There were so many shenanigans about her not being nominated for Best New Artist that I think the Grammys got shamed over that. It's possible they would try to make it up to her by showering her with nominations and I could see her win in major categories [in the future], but I think they're not quite ready for her." That could, of course, change next year when Gaga's Born This Way is in the running.

Another diva used to serious Grammy love, Alicia Keys, was totally shut out for her The Element of Freedom album. "It's interesting that Alicia Keys got nothing," she said. "Her and John Mayer are practically on the ballots every year whether they qualify for eligibility or not. And I think 'Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart' was one of the year's best singles." And reclusive Grammy bait Sade got a pair of notices for her singles "Soldier of Love" and "Babyfather" in the R&B categories but no chance at any of the big prizes. Greenblatt said she was surprised by both snubs, especially since Sade's Soldier of Love album was one of the top sellers of 2010 and because the enigmatic singer had been away for nearly a decade and came back in fine, mature form, the kind of story the Grammys love to honor.

There were some eyebrows raised over the single nomination for "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert, who had a solid and creatively rich hit album with his debut, For Your Entertainment, but just a single nod for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Whataya Want From Me."

With Perry strutting into a number of top categories thanks to her light-as-air pop confections, it was a wonder that another pop tart with huge digital sales and big chart hits (things the Recording Academy likes to see), Ke$ha, was completely shut out of the game. Greenblatt thought the Lambert dis might fall into the same Gaga territory, with the Academy being a bit freaked out by the singer's out-and-proud persona and over-the-top antics, but when it comes to Ke$ha, she said it's probably a different story. "She had a huge impact, but I think the Grammys think she might go away, and they've chosen not to legitimize her," she speculated.

Speaking of big sales, quite a few people commented on the fact that Train's smash "Hey, Soul Sister," the best-selling single of 2010, got just one notice for a little-heard live version in the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group category.

A couple of well-respected hip-hop acts were also conspicuously absent from the nominations list, including Outkast's Big Boi, whose acclaimed Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was left out of the Best Rap Album category, along with Rick Ross, whose Teflon Don got no love. "Rick Ross is the kind of artist made to be ignored by the Grammys," Greenblatt said. "He has a sensibility the Grammys will almost never come around to, no matter how beloved he is by rap fans."

But given that she thought Chico Dusty was one of the best albums of 2010, Greenblatt was stunned by the freeze-out of Big Boi, who has been showered with Grammy love in the past. "It's such an achievement, a fully realized album that feels like a real tapestry, a headphones album from someone whose skills are so singular ... [from] one of the most iconic and Grammy-approved hip-hop acts of all time."

Rihanna's Rated R was also eligible but got stiffed in the major categories, landing just a Best Dance Recording nod for "Only Girl (In the World)" for her single from last year's Loud and a number of notices for her work on Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie." And if you thought Kanye West got ripped off when My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy got blanked, don't worry: It wasn't eligible this year but is in the hunt for next year.

The one omission that seemed to make sense was the two small nominations for the kids from "Glee," who are up for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for their cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' " and for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Glee: Vol. 1. Though they set cash registers ringing like crazy, it's no wonder that actors singing covers didn't garner attention at a show that ostensibly awards creativity. And no one seemed too shocked that Christina Aguilera's poorly received Bionic was ignored.

Who do you think got stiffed by the Grammys? Share your top snubs in the comments.

Michael Jackson Doctor Pleads Not Guilty To Involuntary Manslaughter

Conrad Murray's trial slated to start March 28.

Michael Jackson's former personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray entered a plea of not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of the pop star at his arraignment on Tuesday morning (January 25).

According to the Los Angeles Times, when asked by judge Michael Pastor how he pleaded to the charge, Murray said, "Your honor, I am an innocent man." When Pastor interrupted and asked Murray what his plea was, the cardiologist said, "Therefore, I plead not guilty."

The brief hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court ended with Pastor setting a March 28 date for the start of a trial in the case. Murray faces a maximum of four years in prison if convicted, and the Times noted that he surprised the judge by invoking his right to a speedy trial, which meant the case would have to begin by late March. Pastor noted the rarity of a defendant asking to have a speedy trial, then set jury selection for the week of March 28 and said he was inclined to allow television coverage of the trial that the defense expects will last two months.

Lawyers for Murray have maintained his innocence all along, saying he did not do anything that "should have" caused the 50-year-old pop icon's death. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office determined that Jackson died of an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol mixed with a cocktail of other sedatives.

Murray has admitted to administering propofol to Jackson in the hours before the singer's death, but the defense appears to be gearing up to claim that it was Jackson who administered the final, fatal dose of the drug after he woke in a panic from a fitful night of sleep.

During a preliminary hearing earlier this month to determine if there was enough evidence to hold Murray over for trial, the physician's attorneys said that there was evidence Jackson injected or drank a fatal amount of the drug when the doctor was not looking.

Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' Video Is 'Life Changing'

Choreographer Laurieanne Gibson opens up about Gaga's vision for the song and video on 'The Seven.'
By Jocelyn Vena

Following Lady Gaga's performance of "Born This Way" at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, fans are wondering what they will see in the Nick Knight-directed music video for the feel-good disco track.

"I can't tell you, but I will tell you it is a life-changing experience," Gaga's choreographer Laurieanne Gibson said on MTV's "The Seven." "You can expect the highest level of execution in vocal music art and dance ... but you will be shocked."

Gibson didn't say whether the video would be an extension of Gaga's performance of Sunday night, but she did go into further detail about what she and Gaga and the entire Haus of Gaga had in mind when conceiving the idea of her hatching from an egg on the Grammy stage.

"Well, actually it's a vessel. When Gaga played me the record, it took me quite some time to feel the direction and the inspiration, and when she played it for me two weeks later, I was like, 'I think I got it.' I said, 'We have to birth a new race, a race that cannot hate.' And, of course, as genius as she is, she runs with it."

Gaga revealed that she spent 72 hours inside the vessel, and Gibson explained that precautions were taken to make sure she'd be safe in there. "We made sure the Lady was not suffocating with an oxygen tank in there while incubating, checking her new DNA, which was producing this new race," she explained. "This race does not give up and does not give in.

"When you try to break this performance down, it minimizes the message," she added. "It's about the vocal performance while dancing the amazing choreography. It feels like a standalone dance piece, a standalone theatrical moment. The organ that was our church moment, our freeing moment, a call to arms."

Andre 3000 Pops Up On Ke$ha's 'Sleazy' Remix

Outkast MC freshens up the pop star's Cannibal cut with rare feature.
By Mawuse Ziegbe

It seems the only way to find spankin'-new Andre 3000 lyrics these days is on the odd remix, and the ATLien definitely picked a left-of-center choice for his latest feature.

On Friday (January 14), a remix of Ke$ha's Cannibal track "Sleazy" hit the Web, outfitted with some brand-new bars from the elusive Outkast MC. The southern spitter uses the revamp to muse about a young kid dealing with a deadbeat dad over the song's bouncy thump.

"We start out so cute in our baby pictures/ That mama shot for our daddy so that he wouldn't forget you/ He forgot anyway, but hey, one day he'll remember/ If not, he's human, I'm human, you human, we'll forgive him," he spits.

After sounding off about daddy issues, Stacks then rhymes about his playful relationship with the glitter-friendly poptress.

"I call her Keisha, she like it because it's hood to her/ She call me Andre 6000 because I'm good to her," he says.

The remix follows a slew of random guest appearances on records by everyone from DJ Unk to Rich Boy as fans await another full-length release from 'Dre. Back in 2008, the Love Below lyricist broke down his affinity for jumping on the occasional remix to MTV News, explaining that cooking up another quality solo record is no easy task.

"I've been doing remixes here and there, and let me tell you, thank God for remixes. I wanna tell everybody who's been checking out the remixes and things like the John Legend song ['Green Light']: In this day and age, those are the things that have kind of been keeping me alive. Because it takes me awhile to record albums," he said. "I have to kind of build up something to say."

What do you think of Andre 3000's verse on Ke$ha's "Sleazy" remix? Let us know in the comments!

Justin Bieber's 'Baby': Story Behind The 'Glee' Cover

Hit show covered two Bieber songs on Tuesday night's episode.
By Aly Semigran

"Glee" cast on Tuesday's episode
Photo: FOX

Just in time to mend the wounded hearts of Justin Bieber fans still reeling from his Grammy loss on Sunday, "Glee" paid tribute to the pop powerhouse the best way they know how: by covering two of his hit songs, "Baby" and "Somebody to Love."

During Tuesday night's new episode, "Comeback," Chord Overstreet's worrisome Sam attempts to woo back his possibly straying lady (Dianna Agron) by serenading her in glee club's practice room with a rendition of Bieber's "Baby."

But before a Bieber-ized Chord (The purple hoodie! The hair!) belted out the simple yet addictive chorus — "I was like, baby, baby, baby, ooh," — on the show, the song, and its subsequent video, helped propel Bieber to staggering fame.

Released as the lead single off of Bieber's gold-certified debut studio album My World 2.0, "Baby" first hit the airwaves in late January 2010. The song begins quietly, with Bieber harmonizing accompanied by a guitar, and unfolds into a three-and-a-half-minute unapologetic pop/R&B smash.

Bieber co-wrote the track with rapper Ludacris (who appears on the song), Christina Milian, and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and Terius "The-Dream" Nash (both of whom also worked with the 16-year-old on his single "One Time"), and it has been his biggest single to date.

Though it never reached #1 on the Billboard charts (it debuted at #5 on the Hot 100) in the United States, nor in Bieber's native Canada, "Baby" became certified platinum the world over. The song fared even better as a digital download, going to #1 in the U.S. after it was released on March 23, 2010.

Bieber continued to bring "Baby" to the masses, performing the song on various TV programs like "Saturday Night Live" (he was the musical guest on April 10, 2010), "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "The Kids Choice Awards" and the "Today" show, in which throngs of Beliebers showed up on the plaza at Rockefeller Center to sing along.

But it's the music video for "Baby" that's made the biggest impact. The clip features cameos by Bieber's friend and fellow Canadian performer Drake, as well as "Baby" collaborator Lucadris. 'Cris, who first met Bieber in Atlanta in 2009, told MTV News last year that the video reminded him of "a 2010 version of Michael Jackson's 'The Way You Make Me Feel.' "

While Ludacris predicted, "Mark my word, ['Baby' is] going to be one of the biggest songs of the year 2010," there was no indication of things to come for the video.

Last week, ReadWriteWeb.com reported that Bieber's "Baby" clip is the most-watched YouTube video of all time. It currently has a staggering 463,506,023 hits, besting other viral vids like Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Charlie Bit Me."

Since then, the song has been included on the compilation album Now 34: That's What I Call Music! and is currently featured in Bieber's 3-D documentary/concert film "Never Say Never" and has been used in the movie's trailers. The G-rated movie earned an impressive $30.3 million in its opening weekend.

What did you think of the "Glee" renditions of Bieber's songs? Tell us in the comments.

Blake Griffin Wins 2011 All Star Slam Dunk Contest (VIDEO)

Blake Griffin literally leaped to victory tonight, walking away as the 2011 All-Star Slam Dunk contest winner by making his dunk while jumping over a car.  Get the deets and see the video inside...

LA Clippers star, Blake Griffin, beat out Washington's Javale McGee in the final of the 2011 All-Star Slam Dunk contest.  Earlier in the Saturday evening broadcast on TNT, Blake said the hardest part of the contest was keeping it fresh and new, since most tricks had already been done.  Still, he managed to shock and thrill the audience with his winning dunk.

With former NBA baller Kenny Smith as his mentor and hypeman, Blake paced around the floor as the Crenshaw Select Choir entered the court.  Kenny took the microphone and got the audience excited about what was going to go down.  .

As the choir got into formation, Kenny requested that a 2011 Kia Optima be driven onto the floor of the Staples Center.

Then in an amazing move, Blake started running towards the Kia and as he leaped in the air, he caught a pass from Clippers teammate Baron Davis, who was holding his hand out of the sunroof, and he dunked the ball as he jumped over the car.  All of this happened as the choir sang "I Believe I Can Fly."

It was an amazing moment that will surely go down in All-Star history.

Lady Gaga Announces HBO Monster Ball Special

'Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden' airs May 7.

Lady Gaga could not remember much about her celebration on Sunday night after winning three Grammy Awards, but during a Monday appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," she did manage to recall that she had yet another big announcement to make.

"Oh, this is a very exciting new announcement," she said during the appearance, in which she revealed that she and Madonna have no beef over Gaga's smash single "Born This Way," which some critics and fans have said resembles some of Madonna's 1990s work. "I am going to be taping a special for HBO of the Monster Ball." HBO confirmed on Tuesday (February 15) that the singer's first solo HBO concert special will air on May 7. The program will be taped during Gaga's February 21-22 shows at Madison Square Garden and will be titled "Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden."

"Lady Gaga is the single most exciting music talent on the scene today," said HBO president Sue Naegle in a statement announcing the deal. "We're especially thrilled that she'll be creating unique new elements for the special that will make the show an even more memorable experience for our viewers."

The HBO show will begin airing a few weeks before the release of Gaga's highly anticipated Born This Way album, which hits stores on May 23. It will be directed by Laurieann Gibson, who has choreographed most of Lady Gaga's videos, including "Poker Face," "Paparazzi," "Telephone," "Alejandro" and "Bad Romance."

Gaga also dropped the news that the "Born This Way" video will be out soon and that it is a collaboration between her own Haus of Gaga and fashion photographer Nick Knight.

The singer admitted that she didn't remember much about Sunday night's post-Grammy party, but she remembers that "it was fun. I do remember being called 'drunky Gaga.' " Renowned for her elaborate entrances, Gaga said that Hussein Chalayan, the Turkish designer behind the egg-shaped device in which she was carried into the Grammys, wanted to make sure everyone knew it should be referred to as a "vessel." Joking (we think), Gaga told Leno she spent three days inside the temperature-controlled device.

Gaga also explained that the "vessel" was intended to signify rebirth, specifically the birth of a new race "with no prejudice ... against anyone."

Bret Michaels Is Healthy and Ready to "Rock Out" with New Tour

Bret Michaels Is Healthy and Ready to "Rock Out" with New Tour

If we've learned anything about Bret Michaels over the past few years, it's that there's pretty much nothing that can keep him down. Though still recovering from surgery last month, where doctors successfully repaired a hole in the musician's heart, Michaels says he's ready to return to the stage.

"I am pumped to get back on the road and start rocking out on stage for all my awesome fans," Michaels, 47, tells People.

The Poison lead singer will make his first set of comeback performances at the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series sponsored by the Competitor Group. The four-city tour kicks off on March 27 in Dallas and benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

A rep for Michaels is assuring fans that his client is more than ready to get back to doing to what he loves, and has been physically preparing for the taxing effects of touring.

"Bret Michaels is bouncing back slowly but surely to good health," the rep tells People. "After taking time to rest and recuperate from his recent heart procedure, he's already getting back into his active lifestyle by working out and running on the treadmill."

Coldplay, Led Zeppelin Album Covers Featured On New British Stamps

Album art from Pink Floyd, Blur and David Bowie also included.

On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.

The albums featured in the new series are the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed, Led Zeppelin's IV, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, The Clash's London Calling, New Order's Power, Corruption and Lies, Primal Scream's Screamadelica, Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, Blur's Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head.

Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.

"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."

Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."

"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."

Britney Spears Heads Out of Town With Her Boys Following a Wild Week

Britney Spears carried Jayden James while Jason Trawick followed behind with Sean Preston in his arms at LAX this afternoon. The foursome are getting out of town after a busy week for Britney. She finally debuted her music video for "Hold It Against Me," which is full of strategic product placement. Brit also returned to the studio for a last-minute recording session and apparently purchased a new $20 million house. Now that she's wrapped things up at home, hopefully Britney's getaway allows her a little relaxation like her recent escape to sunny Mexico.

Chelsy Davy: Making Rounds in Manhattan

Enjoying her New York City surroundings, Chelsy Davy was spotted walking around Manhattan earlier this week.

The former girlfriend of Prince Harry was accompanied by her rumored new beau, Dan Philipson as she strolled past some shutterbugs.

In related news, last night Chelsy was back in London, England on a girls? night out with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

And given the fact that Pippa Middleton (Kate?s sister) was also along for the ride, perhaps Miss Davy is reconsidering a Royal romance.

Britney Spears 'Hold It Against Me' Teaser Shows Lights, Cameras, Action

Old-fashioned cameras and flashes add to the frenzy in latest sneak peek.

We're two days away from the world premiere of Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video. For nearly two weeks now, we've been piecing together clips and trying to figure out just what the theme of the Jonas Åkerlund-directed video is going to be, and on Tuesday (February 15), one more teaser was added to the mix.

In the latest clip, Spears does not appear in the video. Instead, images of old-fashioned cameras burst on the screen before a flash goes off. A hand then appears in the frame slamming down a clapper board.

Spears will debut her new music video for "Hold It Against Me" on Thursday at 9:56 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com, and in celebration of Brit's epic return to the medium that made her a star, MTV News is hosting a live discussion on MTV.com following the premiere, with a full hour of special guests breaking down the new video and discussing what we can expect from her album Femme Fatale.

Our Britney Spears and "Hold It Against Me" discussion, hosted by MTV News' Jim Cantiello, will stream live on Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on MTV.com, an hour after her big video's world premiere.

From what we can tell, the vibe of the video seems to fit in with what Britney's collaborators have said of the album. "I would say ['Hold It Against Me' is] the tip of the iceberg because that's the very beginning of a whole album," songwriter Claude Kelly explained, adding that this album will be "darker" and "edgier" than 2008's Circus, though it will "still [have] fun pop records."

"[Dr. Luke and Max Martin are] in charge, but I've written a couple songs," he further explained. "I'm not even sure myself what made the cut. I know there's something workable in there, but I worked on her last album as well, so it's kind of a continuation of that. But it's a little edgier this time, darker. It sounds grimier and dubstep and danceable."

Don't miss Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video premiere Thursday, February 17, at 9:56 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com, followed by a live discussion on MTV.com at 11 p.m. about the new clip and what's next for the pop star!

Daniel Radcliffe To Star In Indie Comedy 'The Amateur Photographer'

Christopher Monger, the Emmy-nominated co-writer of HBO's 'Temple Grandin,' will direct.

At the same time that Daniel Radcliffe readies to return to Broadway — previews of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" begin on February 26 — the 21-year-old actor is continuing to plot his post-"Harry Potter" career on the big screen.

Radcliffe is now attached to star in "The Amateur Photographer," an indie comedy from writer/director Christopher Monger, according to Variety. Monger shared writing credits on HBO's "Temple Grandin," the biopic that earned him an Emmy nomination and Claire Danes a Golden Globe win.

Set in a New England mill town during the 1970s, the movie will follow Radcliffe as a young man who finds in himself an unlikely artistic streak when he begins photographing the "most intimate moments" of the townspeople's lives, as Variety puts it, and ends up battling "local authorities while bringing a bit of a velvet revolution to the community."

Radcliffe has already wrapped production on his first film following the completion of the "Harry Potter" series. "The Woman in Black" is a thriller in which Radcliffe plays a lawyer who travels to a strange town filled with supernatural secrets. The Brit has also lined up another big-screen project in "All Quiet on the Western Front." He's set to play a German soldier during World War I when the production kicks off in the spring of 2012. And come July, he'll be busy with promotional duties for the final part of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

For now, though, Radcliffe is settling in on Broadway. After a month of previews, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" will officially open on March 27.

NYC FASHION WEEK ROUNDUP: Dwight, Kanye, Gabby, Rachel Roy, & More Do the Shows At Lincoln Center

NY Fashion Week is almost over.  And the celebs have been getting in their last few shows.  We've got pics of the 6th ATL Housewife Dwight Eubanks, plus Gabby Union, Rachel Roy, and which cape Andre Leon Talley decided to go with, when you read on...

Oh Dwight.  The "hairstylist" we all know and love hit up the Edwing D'Angelo Fall 2011 Fashion Show last night at Limelight Marketplace.  It was off-site from Lincoln Center, but we hear the masses were breaking their necks trying to get to, talk to to, and snap pics with, Dwight.

This all white 20 piece suit...

Rachel Roy showed off her brand new line at Lincoln Center yesterday.

Celeb stylist June Ambrose made her rounds:

She hit the front row of Betsy Johnson's show with friends Miss Jay and Robert Verdi.

And then hit up the Tracy Reese show with Veronica Webb.

YBF designer Ms. Reese herself grabbed a refreshment at her show.

And put together a funky look for some other shows as well.

Gabby Union was spotted leaving the scene at Lincoln Park after taking in some shows.

Oh Mr. Talley.  While he sat front row at Donna Karan with his counterpart Anna Wintour, he rocked about 3 different outfits at once.

Many things.

And he and his bestie/client Whoopi hit up the Chado Ralph Rucci show as well.

Anika Noni Rose hit the front row of Pamela Rolland's show.

Diesel Black and Gold fans Keri Hilson and Wyclef hit up the show.

Cute look for Keri.

Mr. West looked unimpressed with the pomp and circumstance of it all.  He sat front row at Rodarte.

Fab chick and new "Gossip Girl" Tika Sumpter rocked a cute Alice + Olivia dress dress to their show.

And Miss Jay was spotted around Lincoln Center sporting many-a-looks for the Monique Lhuillier show and more.  He also kicked it with Al Roker's wife Deborah and daughter.

Fab times.
