Fox's hit reality competition The X Factor is undergoing some major changes! On Monday, host Steve Jones confirmed that he was indeed leaving the show. And now sources are buzzing that judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger are also saying their goodbyes. If the news is true, that leaves series impresario Simon Cowell and fellow music producer L.A. Reid as the only original cast members to continue on for season 2.

Avril Lavigne & Brody Jenner: Together Again
It's been a little over two weeks since speculation of a split began to swirl, however a very together-looking Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne were spotted out at Koi restaurant in Los Angeles, California on Monday night (January 30).
Both dressed in a dark-colored ensembles, the "Complicated" singer and her on/off reality star beau seemingly squashed any claims of a breakup as they arrived to the swanky City of Angels eatery.
The dinner date follows a slew of unconfirmed reports that Avril and Brody parted ways, citing Jenner's refusal to walk down the aisle.
Becoming quite frustrated with the pesky rumors, Brody tweeted, "It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her.? Lavigne later replied to the loving post, writing, ?Luv u 2!!!"

Emma Stone, Natalie Portman Shine On SAG Red Carpet
Stacy Keibler, 'The Help' cast also rocked the carpet at Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The style competition is really heating up as awards season rolls on, and at the SAG Awards on Sunday night, it was all about taking risks. A-list actresses brought out their best designer dresses for the event at the Shrine Auditorium, showing off not-so-subtle slits and striking pale-white and sleek-and-chic black gowns.'
"There were a lot of beautiful black gowns on the carpet last night," Celebuzz producer Rachel Maresca said. "We saw Angelina Jolie in black, we saw Emma Stone, we saw Ashlee Simpson."
For photos of the stars on the red carpet, click here.
Also stunning in black was Stacy Keibler, who managed to stand out while walking the carpet alongside boyfriend and SAG nominee George Clooney.
"I think who nailed it the best was Stacey Keibler. She came arm-in-arm with George Clooney in a black lace Marchesa dress. She's been supporting him at all the award shows. She really stood out herself last night," Maresca said.
The women of "Glee" hit the carpet in silver. Lea Michele wore a high-slit Versace gown, while Naya Rivera wore a beaded Naeem Khan dress with a plunging neckline.
"It's comfortable and I really like the color, and I like the silhouette as well. It's heavy, but it's good," Rivera told MTV News.
The undisputed red-carpet winners of the night were the stars of "The Help," who won top prize for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Stone wore a black lace Alexander McQueen dress, while her co-star and winner for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Supporting Role, Octavia Spencer, sparkled in a silver Tadashi Shoji gown. SAG Award winner for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Leading Role Viola Davis was glowing in a white Marchesa gown, and SAG nominee Jessica Chastain decided to go with a pop of color in custom Calvin Klein.
But it was Natalie Portman who stood out above the rest. Last year's best actress winner for "Black Swan" flaunted her post-baby body in a strapless burgundy gown by Giambattista Valli.
"She looked very elegant," Maresca said. "She really wowed everybody."

Young Money's Cory Gunz Arrested With A Loaded Gun
His dad, rapper Peter Gunz, confirms report to MTV News: 'To go to a precinct and see your son in handcuffs, it's heartbreaking.'
By Nadeska Alexis

Veteran Bronx MC Peter Gunz confirmed to MTV News early Sunday (January 29) that his son, rapper Cory Gunz, was arrested for gun possession in the Bronx, New York, on Saturday afternoon.
"The details are still sketchy, but I can confirm that he was arrested with a firearm yesterday in the Bronx," Gunz told MTV News. "They caught him around 2 p.m. in the afternoon with a loaded gun in his knapsack.
"It was definitely an illegal search," Peter added.
Gunz was unable to disclose full details on the incident just yet, but he explained the events leading up to his son's arrest. "I spoke to the arresting officer, and so far, what I'm hearing from him is that they got a phone call at the station saying they should 'look out,' " Gunz said. "According to [the officer], they didn't know he was Cory Gunz. They just saw a bunch of kids following him around.
"What I will say is that the officer that arrested Cory actually happened to be a cool dude," Gunz continued. "After arresting Cory, sitting down with him and talking, he felt bad about the situation."
The 24-year-old rapper was brought to the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx on Saturday, but officials there say he has since been transported to Central Booking, on E. 161st Street in the Bronx.
While this is Cory Gunz's first brush with the law, his father is still worried about the potential fallout from a firearm charge.
"At the end of the day, there's a reason for everything, but at the same time, in New York, it's mandatory jail time," he said. "To go to a precinct and see your son, your junior, in handcuffs, it's heartbreaking. Anytime you see your child in jail, in the cell, in handcuffs, it's very hard. He's walked down some of the same paths that I walked down, but you never want to see your kids go through what you went through.
"This is Cory's first offense, but sometimes they like to make an example out of rappers and people with any kind of celebrity to them."
In April 2011, Cory Gunz and his father starred in the six-part MTV docu-series "Son of a Gun," which charted the young rapper's rise to fame. The younger Gunz is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money label.

Beyonce, Diddy Design Re-Election Swag For President Obama
'Runway to Win' effort will donate proceeds to president's campaign.

. Among the projects she participated in is "Runway to Win," in which a number of celebrities and fashion industry icons were tapped to design T-shirts and other swag for President Obama's re-election campaign. According to <a href="http://nymag.com/daily/fashion/2012/01/obama-re-election-campaign-fashion-designers.html" target="_blank"><I>New York</I> magazine</a>, the effort was spearheaded by <I>Vogue</I> editor Anna Wintour, who wrangled a number of her friends and fashion world peers to design shirts, tote bags, scarves and bracelets for the Obama campaign. In addition to Beyoncé, Diddy and hip-hip impresario Russell Simmons, others who've thrown in include First Lady Michelle Obama fave designer Jason Wu, as well as Rachel Roy, Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg, rag & bone, Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, Tory Burch and Tracy Reese. <center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:722792/cp~id%3D1672718%26vid%3D722792%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A722792%26instance%3Dmtv" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></center> <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a>'s <a href="http://store.barackobama.com/runway-to-win/beyonce-tina-knowles.html" target="_blank">effort</a>, designed in conjunction with her mother, Tina Knowles, is a $45 white T-shirt with the phrases "yes we can," "words do inspire" and "transform a nation together," randomly scattered across the front in different fonts. Simmons' and Diddy's shirts have not yet been revealed. The current fundraiser is a sequel of sorts to a similar campaign in 2008 called "Runway to Change," and the proceeds will go to the Obama Victory Fund. Pre-orders are being taken now and all the items are slated to go on sale online on February 7. Justin Bieber Debuts Darker Locks

<P>About a year ago, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> made headlines when he <a href="/news/articles/1658412/justin-bieber-haircut.jhtml">lopped off his famous locks</a> in favor of a shorter do. Now, almost 12 months later, he's once again making some hair-related headlines. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:667806" width="240" height="211"></div><p> So, what has Bieber done now that has everyone <i>buzz</i>ing? Well, over the weekend, the Biebs was <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/justin_biebers_hair_goes_dark_side/286863" target="_blank">spotted in Los Angeles</a> donning much darker hair than his trademark sandy blond. When Bieber cut off his hair last year, MTV News spoke to his <a href="/news/articles/1659195/justin-bieber-haircut.jhtml">hairstylist, Vanessa Price</a>, who told us about his new look, noting that it had a lot to do with Bieber's growing pains. "We knew it was going to be a big deal," Price explained. "We knew it was going to shock fans, but we also knew it was going to be a change in terms of growing up. I think that's something that people adjust to. "We'd been talking about it for a while and shared some ideas, but literally the day of he was adamant about the haircut. He amped himself up for it," Price continued, before describing his momentary hesitation. "The minute we started cutting, he was like, 'Wait, wait, wait.' He loves it. He's enjoying it." The new hair color coincides with his girlfriend Selena Gomez's hairstyle changes. She recently <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/selenagomez/status/157224232835760130" target="_blank">tweeted</a> a photo of herself sporting multi-colored highlights in her hair. Bieber's new look may be part of a makeover for his upcoming album, <i>Believe,</i> slated for release later this year. He confirmed last week that <a href="/news/articles/1677263/justin-bieber-will-i-am-believe.jhtml">Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am</a> will appear on the album. Not only does Bieber want to <a href="/news/articles/1675015/justin-bieber-new-album.jhtml">grow up</a> when it comes to his look but also when it comes to his music. "The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition, because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," Bieber's longtime vocal producer Kuk Harrell told MTV News in November. "And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition."</p>

<P>Britney Spears spent the weekend celebrating her <a href="/news/articles/1676120/britney-spears-is-engaged.jhtml">engagement to Jason Trawick</a> in Las Vegas with friends and family. On Friday, hours after the news of their impending marriage was confirmed, the singer took to her Facebook page to make it official, changing her <a href="https://www.facebook.com/britney" target="_blank">relationship status</a> to "engaged." </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:720382" width="240" height="211"></div><p> She also shared with her fans on Twitter just how excited she is to be tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Trawick. "Still glowing!" she <a href="http://twitter.com/britneyspears" target="_blank">wrote</a>. "About to jump on a plane to Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Throwing a Bday Party for Jason at Chateau Night Club. So fun. Xxoo. And celebrate they did. <a href="http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20554744,00.html" target="_blank">People.com</a> reported that the couple and her two sons checked into Planet Hollywood before making their first public appearance since the news broke. Spears rocked not only a body-hugging Hervé Léger bandage dress, but also her Neil Lane engagement ring. The couple shared dinner and dancing at two Sin City hotspots, Sugar Factory's Chocolate Lounge and Paris' Chateau Nightclub. "Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life," she later wrote on Twitter. "Such an amazing time with my new fiance and our closest friends and family. #Blessed" While Spears was celebrating, her ex-husband Kevin Federline sent out his well-wishes. "I'm really happy for her — I think he's a great guy," he told <a href="http://tvweek.ninemsn.com.au/blog.aspx?blogentryid=963715&showcomments=true" target="_blank"><i>TV Week</i> magazine</a> while filming the reality show "Excess Baggage" in Australia. "She's happy; she's doing really well. I want to say she's in a good place. I haven't spoken to her much since I've been over here, both of us have been busy with her being on tour, but I do know from talking to the kids and talking to the kids' teachers that they're doing really good. It's a good step in the right direction. I'm totally happy for her." And Federline doesn't seem to have any hard feelings toward Trawick. "He's a really good guy, I've heard a lot about him," he added. "I've spoken to him quite a few times as of now. He seems like a really good guy. The kids speak highly of him [and] her family loves him." <div style="background-color:#000000;width:428px;"><div style="padding:4px;"><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:702567/cp~id%3D1672881%26vid%3D702567%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A702567" width="420" height="236" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></div></div> <i>Share your well-wishes for Britney and Jason in the comments!</i></p>

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner's Sweet Stroll
Busy parents Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck managed a bit of solo time yesterday, taking their dog for a walk outside the Company Men star's office in Brentwood, California (January 25). The pair shared a laugh - and snuck a kiss - as they strolled.
With baby #3 on the way very soon, everybody's asking: Will it be a boy or a girl for the cute couple? Ben and Jen know the answer, but they're not telling.

Beyonce's Baby Is 'So Beautiful,' Kelly Rowland Says

<P>Beyoncé and Jay-Z's little girl, Blue Ivy Carter, is already getting lots of attention from her aunties. B's Destiny's Child sister Kelly Rowland recently gushed about the nearly one-month-old, sharing what it was like to meet her for the first time. "She's absolutely beautiful!" Rowland told <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/marc_malkin/beyonceacute_jay-zs_baby_blue_ivy_shes/288811?" target="_blank">E! News</a> about her pal's new bundle of joy. "And I say that with such a huge grin! I'm so excited. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:725377.id:1676907" width="240" height="211"></div><p> "We all just stared at her," she added about meeting the baby for the first time. "I just stared at her. She is so beautiful." So what did she buy the baby? "That's between me and Blue," she said. "But you best believe her auntie will have her dressed to impress." That sentiment was mirrored by <a href="/news/articles/1677774/beyonce-blue-ivy-solange-in-style.jhtml">Beyoncé's little sister, Solange</a>, who had tons of adoring words for her baby niece. "This may sound awful, but I'm excited to let the baby do whatever it wants in the same way my sister's done with my son," she said. "I'm going to get her back for all those late-night popcorn sessions and just spoiling my child to no end!" While Rowland isn't talking about what she gave Blue, MTV News did recently get the scoop on the types of baby products the famous kid may have gotten from her parents' friends and family. When Andrea Edmunds, the president of PoshTots, stopped by our offices recently, she revealed that <a href="/news/articles/1677307/beyonce-jay-z-blue-ivy-carter-nursery.jhtml">Blue may been hanging out</a> in a Destiny iron cradle, angora booties and the Fantasy Coach Carriage crib. Much like her parents, <a href="/news/articles/1677163/beyonce-jay-z-baby-blue-carter-glory-song.jhtml">Blue is already a music star</a>, thanks to an appearance on her dad's track "Glory." "She was on her dad's record," Rowland laughed. "Her first feature is, like, two days old! So yeah, she's musical."</p>

Stranger Danger
My sister recently had a talk with my four-year-old nephew Jack about strangers. Here's how it went:
SISTER: Now, Jack, if a stranger says, "Come here, I want to show you something," what do you do?
JACK: I turn around and run!
SISTER: If a stranger says, "Come here, I want to give you some candy," what do you do?
JACK: I turn around and run!
SISTER: If a stranger says, "Come here, I want to show you my puppy," what do you do?
JACK: Oh, I love puppies...

SPEAK ON IT: Chrissy & Emily Talk LOYALTY & CHEATING On "Love & Hip Hop" Season 2 Finale

Last night's "Love & Hip Hop" Season 2 finale raised some eyebrows and blood pressure. We already knew about Kimbella's pregnancy--event though she spent the whole episode saying she and baby daddy Juelz weren't on the level they needed to be on and he couldn't give her what she needed. But what we didn't know was Chrissy's definition of "loyalty" and what she allows Jim to do in their relationship.
Check out the clip inside and speak on it...
I typically try to stay as objective as possible with this show as most of it is scripted and everyone has different outlooks on what's acceptable and what's not. Especially where women and their careers and their relationships are concerned. But last night just needs to be discussed.

Emily went to Chrissy about what Fab's ex-assistant Winter (who was just spotted with Fab days ago by the way) told her about "forgiving" Fab. Emily says that Winter's advice to her which was to "find a hobby" while Fab is out "doing what he's going to do" stuck out to her. Winter told Emily to go home because "she is breaking Fab's heart right now." (Girl stop.) Emily didn't know if she should take heed to Winter's advice to turn the other cheek to Fab's cheating ways. Winter told her it costs (and not money) to ride in the Bentleys (which 99% of these rappers are leasing their damn selves) and get all the clothes and shoes she's come to worship. So Em needed Chrissy's advice on whether she should take heed to what Winter said.
Chrissy's advice to Em was even more shocking. She said this rap business is indeed crazy at times, and you have to have a specific bond with your man. Chrissy, who I have been a huge supporter of all season and was actually surprised by, went on to say that "a man is going to do what he's going to do," but has to be loyal and smart enough to never let his main girl see it, feel it, or hear it. And she indeed sounded as if she was speaking from cheating experience with Jimmy.
Now I know this is a touchy subject and all, but low standards and no sense of self worth has to be called out when it's slapping me in the face every week. And even moreso when young girls are looking to these shows as examples of how to live--whether we like it or not. Em & Chrissy's conversation was the best example of a woman believing "My body, mind and self are only worth main status," instead of it all being worth "ONLY" status. These women--esp. those with young daughters--have GOT to do better. It's bad enough you think it's ok to get treated like trash on a public platform and publicly cheated on, it's a whole other to make it known that you're OK with it.
How's this for some advice? Some folks are not going to like it...but sue me. GET/CREATE A REAL JOB, work your ass off like plenty of successful and fabulous women do every day of their lives, and buy your own shoes and clothes and what nots. Since that's what's important to you. A grown and able woman relying on a man to buy her the very things she can buy for herself will always lead to a dumb doormat with no self worth. No matter how well you dress up the screen door. There is nothing wrong with your lover/man/friend/whatever you want to call him gifting you things to add to your collection (we all love a gift). That's what people do for each other in relationships. But making a man, who has no desire to make you his ONLY, your sole source of getting the necessities and luxuries you believe you need in life--is just foolish. And will never end well. In the end, surprisingly, Emily said she did not move back in with Fab because she demands more respect.
Hopping off my soapbox...speak on it oh fab ones. And check out the clip below:

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber Top 'Celebs Gone Good'

<P><a href="/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a>, <a href="/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> and George Clooney better have received something nice from Santa this year, because they certainly weren't on his naughty list. Those three toplined <a href="http://www.dosomething.org" target="_blank">DoSomething.org</a>'s Top 20 Celebs Gone Good, the organization's annual roundup of the most charity-friendly stars in the business. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:712657" width="240" height="211"></div><p> This is Gaga's second year in a row at the #1 spot. In 2011 she dedicated much of her time to putting an end to bullying and even started a new charitable organization called <a href="http://www.mtv.co.uk/news/lady-gaga/336330-lady-gaga-born-this-way-foundation-charity" target="_blank">Born This Way</a>. The "Marry the Night" singer did plenty more to help out those less fortunate in 2011, including <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2011/12/12/lady-gaga-nude-sketch-tony-bennett-auction-charity">auctioning off a nude sketch for charity</a> and performing at the <a href="/news/articles/1670610/lady-gaga-bono-bill-clinton-charity-foundation.jhtml">Bill Clinton Foundation fundraiser</a>. However, this was really Bieber's year to shine. He rocketed up DoSomething.org's list from #10 last year to #2 this year. It helps that Bieber donated some of his profits from his Christmas album, <i>Under the Mistletoe</i>, and his self-named perfume to various charitable organizations. Bieber also kept up his work with Pencils of Promise, a group that has built 41 schools in Laos, Nicaragua and Guatemala and was founded by his manager's brother. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:683376" width="240" height="211"></div><p> Rounding out the top five were Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and Leonardo DiCaprio. This was a year for celeb power couples, with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie clocking at #8, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore at #12 and newlyweds Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert at #14. Other notable standouts this year were Demi Lovato at #10, Lea Michele making her charitable debut at #16, Daniel Radcliffe at #17, Miley Cyrus at #18 and Taylor Swift rounding out the list at #20. <i>What do you think of DoSomething.org's list? <P>He's already teased that <a href="/news/articles/1673221/justin-bieber-kanye-west-drake-next-album.jhtml">Drake and Kanye West</a> may make appearances on his next album, and on Thursday, Justin Bieber confirmed that another music industry heavyweight, will.i.am, will be assisting him on <i>Believe</i>. Letting his fans know on <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/justinbieber" target="_blank">Twitter</a> that he's "gonna make that," the Black Eyed Peas frontman hyped up the collaboration further when he added, "let's make a hit tomorrow!! #collab. 'I gotta feeling this song is ganne be bigger than huge' #willpower." The news comes as Bieber is deep in the studio working on his highly anticipated 2012 release. The team-up should make for an interesting track for the teen star. With Bieber hoping to recapture some of that <a href="/news/articles/1672847/justin-bieber-my-world-new-album-justin-timberlake.jhtml">Justin Timberlake/Timbaland magic</a> from Timberlake's <i>Future Sex/Love Sounds</i>, will.i.am could bring some of that frenetic pop energy to Bieber's own work. <center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:714678/cp~id%3D1672718%26vid%3D714678%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A714678%26instance%3Dmtv" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></center> Last year, will made headlines when he worked with Britney Spears on her <i>Femme Fatale</i> song <a href="/news/articles/1662289/britney-spears-will-i-am-big-fat-bass.jhtml">"Big Fat Bass."</a> Earlier this week, Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, teased that what he's heard of <a href="/news/articles/1677088/justin-bieber-believe-album.jhtml"><i>Believe</i> has been "ridiculous."</a> Bieber will turn 18 in March, and his team is hoping to bridge the gap between the boy we met on "Baby" and the man he's growing up to be. "The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition, because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," Bieber's longtime <a href="/news/articles/1675015/justin-bieber-new-album.jhtml">vocal producer, Kuk Harrell</a>, told MTV News in November. "And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There's a record in between." <center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:702532/cp~id%3D1672718%26vid%3D702532%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A702532%26instance%3Dmtv" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></center> <i>Are you excited for Justin Bieber's collabo with will.i.am? 'Hunger Games' Meets Robert Pattinson In Movie Brawl Finals
RPattz's indie 'Cosmopolis' takes on the fresh franchise in MTV Movie Brawl 2012 — vote now!

It started three weeks ago with a simple question: What is truly the must-see movie of 2012?
Everyone's got an opinion. Maybe you're a "Hobbit" guy who can't believe that, after years of delay, Peter Jackson is set to deliver the first part of his series in December. Or perhaps you're a "Dark Knight Rises" gal with an insatiable itch to see how Christopher Nolan wraps up his Batman trilogy. Or, hey, possibly you're thinking, "Screw all these studio-driven tentpoles! I can't wait for indies like 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' to hit and show us Emma Watson in her first post-'Harry Potter' role!"
But we got to wondering: What's the consensus pick? What's the collective viewpoint across the globe? So we launched MTV Movie Brawl 2012, a fan-driven tournament to determine the year's most-anticipated film. Millions of votes have been cast thus far. The debate has echoed from the pages of MTV News to the updates of the Twitterverse and beyond. Now just two movies remain: "The Hunger Games" and "Cosmopolis."
One is a fresh franchise with a huge fanbase. The other is an indie drama featuring one of the biggest stars on the planet. And less than one day into the action — with hundreds of thousands of votes already cast — it's anybody's guess what is going to happen. And we couldn't be more psyched about it.
As of this writing ,"Hunger Games" is up by less than 2 percent over Robert Pattinson's "Cosmopolis." It's been an unlikely run for RPattz's cerebral drama, having entered the Brawl bracket as a #4 seed after an impressive run in the play-in round. From there, "Cosmopolis" dispatched another Pattinson flick in "Bel Ami," then shockingly dispatched his own "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." "The Dark Knight Rises" proved to be no match for "Cosmopolis," and so the movie came to face "Hunger Games."
Jennifer Lawrence's film, which hits theaters in March, was a front-runner from the beginning, and it has not disappointed. Both "John Carter" and Daniel Radcliffe's "Woman in Black" could not trip up the win-at-all-costs run of "Hunger Games." So we wonder: Can Pattinson accomplish what no other star has so far in the Brawl? Can he fell the mighty "Hunger Games"?
All will become clear when the polls close Monday at 5 p.m. Until then, the vote totals are being closely guarded. It's up to the fans to keep voting for their fave flick and to make sure their must-see movie is crowned the champion of MTV Movie Brawl 2012.

Vote For Your Favorite Upcoming Flick In MTV's Movie Brawl 2012!
What are you waiting for? "Hunger Games" and "Cosmopolis" need your support. It's time to show character, poise and heart. Vote for your pick now at MTV Movie Brawl 2012!

Gina Carano 'In Control' Of Male 'Haywire' Co-Stars
'I didn't have any issue [doing] this fight scene with a woman, because I was the underdog,' Ewan McGregor tells MTV News.

If you like your movies with a lot of action, kick-ass fight sequences and actors who do their own stunts, look no further than this week's new thriller "Haywire" to satisfy those needs.
The concept for the film was born after director Steven Soderbergh saw footage of MMA fighter Gina Carano in the cage, which inspired the Oscar winner to build a film around her. "Haywire" revolves around a black-ops supersoldier (Carano) who seeks the ultimate revenge after she is betrayed by her colleagues, played by the very capable Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas and Michael Douglas.
MTV News recently caught up with Carano, Tatum and McGregor to discuss the very realistic fight sequences and how the guys were more than game for getting their butts kicked by a woman.
"The physicality, that was fun to me. I didn't have to hurt anybody," Carano said of the difference between the film's choreographed fights versus her MMA matches. "I didn't have to worry about getting choked out, and there were no egos with any of the actors. They all wanted to do all their own stunts, and a lot of people around me were like, 'Gina, that's not normal. You've got some beautiful people to work with and a beautiful first experience.' "
"To be totally honest, she's better than every guy I've ever fought, really, other than one, and he was a strike force fighter as well," Tatum admitted of his co-star, with whom he shares an intense bone-breaking exchange during the first five minutes of the film. "I can say this without any amount of trying to say it for the movie: I challenge anyone to come and fight her or even move with her. She's by far the best athlete I've ever gotten a chance to move with. She's so strong and in control, it's just ridiculously unprecedented in my opinion."
McGregor added that he didn't even think about the man-vs.-woman factor, only that it was the most appropriate scenario for his manipulative, weasel-like character.
"There was a slight difference in our fight scene together. For me, I didn't ever have any issue with the fact that I was having to do this fight scene with a woman, because I was the underdog," he said. "There was no question that I was going to get killed if I didn't manage to get away."
Check out everything we've got on "Haywire."
